Computer Science

Computer department was established in 1988. there are two courses managed by department "Post Diploma in computer application" and "Diploma in Computer science in Engineering". Diploma in Computer science & Engineering started in the year 2004. Department has well qualified & experience staff. Laboratory are equipped with latest computer. In order to give in-depth knowledge to students, real life projects are awarded. Many passed out students of department are working in reputed organization of India & Abroad. Diploma students have option for higher education in Engineering Colleges through lateral entry..

In order to improve the quality of teaching, staff participate in various training program and curriculum revision activities. Staff assist students for industrial visits during semester breaks. Department has actively participated in the development of college website and internet facility in the library. Staff also worked as an expert member for establishment of new polytechnic by the private society. Department also maintain and repair the computer available in the college.

• Collaborate with Higher Institute of Learning in the fields of Engineering & Technology such as I.I.T., National Engineering Colleges & others, so as to upgrade knowledge of faculty members and also to upgrade facilities in our Institution
• To encourage more & more Institute -Industry interaction for benefit to both faculty & industry & also to society at large. Also, to encourage real life industrial projects to be taken by students, faculty members and enrich the experience.
