About Us
Three years diploma in civil engineering was started in the institute with the establishment of the institute in 1962. Mr. C. B. Phatak was the head of the department. the intake of the students in civil engineering was 45 at that time. There was yearly system of examination with 10 subjects in each year. At present the intake of the students in civil engineering in 60.the examination is conducted in semester system with 5 subjects in each semester. The department has been successfully training the students to work in the field with new techniques. Apart from the theoretical knowledge as per the syllabus the faculty provides the students practical knowledge experienced by them in the field before joining the institute. Part time diploma course in also offered by the department for the working person to enhance their qualification and theoretical knowledge.Facilties Available
